Royals Reclaim Their Jamaican Heritage

What begun as a dream in my childhood, growing up as young boy in the island of Jamaica, has come full circle, and I'm now living my dream today. I dreamt one day, of a new land and country, a kingdom in some land, that I can call my own, and  a people whom shall call me king; and the patriarchal father of their nation.  In 2006 at the founding of the Kingdom of Marceligue, and also in that same year of the founding of the Royal House of Marceligue by legal documentation, a royal house of Jamaican roots, was brought forth into the world; through divine providence.

The world is now being introduced, to the likes of such a towering patriarchal figure, as a Divine Priest King, and a God in human flesh, whom is responsible for the powerful forging of a new royal house and family; amidst the current global depression era of our modern times.  That person is I King Marcel Duvoix.  In my first autobiographical book published in July 2009, the reader will see the unfolding story of how I'm shown my purpose and mission in life, how I begun to realize my deity and rulership as given to me, and how I become ever humbled and determined to fulfill my royal obligations and duties against all odds; that neither looming homelessness nor past poverty shall stop me from rising up to greatness and victory won!

Such an exciting and tumultuous royal family, rich with deep history as well as new beginnings, has not been seen in a long time!  In "Holy Continuum," the sequel book to "Holy Legacy," I introduce new emerging concepts and ideas to the growing religion of Legacism to the world, and a solid Legacitic piece of literature, that firmly establishes the Royal House of Marceligue, as rising stars amongst the other royal families of the world.  Though riddled with high drama like a daily soap opera!, the royals of Marceligue whom owe their roots to the Fatherland of Jamaica, are: charismatic, highly creative and intelligent, and blessed with natural beauty and poise.

Upon ascending to the newly created royal throne in 2006, the beginnings of our immediate family branch was fairly small in number, but as of 2010 as I sit firmly at the helm of my realm, the kingdom has grown so significantly and rapidly in population size, and great importance; even among other royal families around the world.  This growth is spurred on by currently one member of the ever present Duvoix royal family, being I myself King Marcel Duvoix, and also at least three main individuals of various branches of the highly influential and powerful Jamaican side of the Phillpotts royal family branch.  The Phillpotts royal family today, according to the royal laws that govern Marceligue, and is included also among the laws written in the book Holy Legacy itself,  this particular branch of the Marceliguenne royals, is only one of the seven royal houses that united back in 2006; to make up the one unified royal house called: "The Royal House Of Marceligue."

I myself King Marcel Duvoix, being the current sovereign of the royal house and family, am originally of the Phillpotts family branch by direct blood descent and name, but by divine providence, changed my name to its current form, renaming myself, created the premier Duvoix royal house itself, along with the other six royal houses, including the Phillpotts royal family branch, and then unified all seven royal family branches into one unified whole, and further decreed by my own legal command; that all come under my political rulership.

Today, the Royal House of Marceligue, and the royals and nobility that make up this fast expanding family, already has  its own legal constitution and laws, its own religion called Legacism, its own customs and highly developed culture and philosophy; and has managed to in a short space of time since only 2006, to wield considerable political control in gaining even some measure of worldwide recognition and audience among other royal families and highly influential peoples all around the world.  Although the royals of Marceligue, are rapidly emerging as a presence elsewhere, we've yet to become noticeable in our own ancestral land of Jamaica.

As of press time, only the six people themselves whom signed the Marceliguenne Establishment Act, the name of the legal document signed in 2006 establishing the kingdom and the royal family as coming into existence, have so far officially been recognized as possessing titles and privileges etc.  Two of those were female, and the other four were males, including myself.  The titled individuals, whom signed this legal document as mentioned, are: King Regnant (myself), a Marquis, a Grand Count, a Grand Duchess, a Marchioness, and finally; an Earl.

Presently, as the Marceliguenne royals and nobility continue to come together to preserve and pass down our shared family history and recorded royal family tree, more and more family members will be eventually given royal and nobility titles and privileges by myself; and as they are confirmed and verified as being a part of the royal house etc.  All will of course, follow the royal laws governing the one unified royal body, in order to be affirmed as royals of The Royal House of Marceligue, as well as fall under the laws of the constitution and government of my royal kingdom now in effect upon all recognized seven branches of my family tree.  Also to date, certain branches of the royal house, are coming together to not only reclaim our Jamaican heritage, but to also build and pass down: our royal family tree, our history; and our lasting legacy!  Yours, HRM King Marcel.

Do It Yourself Kingdom

In today's world of do it yourself this and that, and the pioneering spirit of hardy peoples willing to find a way to make their dreams come true somehow, just about anything that can possibly be imagined, can in fact be done; by people ingenious enough to find a way to do it!  However, establishing and founding one's own country, like for example when the United States of America was founded in 1776, is not at the top of most people's list.  Most folks, just don't go off establishing their own countries, like in olden days of setting up a colony and new settlements, and then declaring your independence as a new country to the rest of the world!  But what if, there were still people or groups of peoples today, in these modern times, whom have done the very same things?

Varying groups and peoples, even in these modern days and times, still have the pioneering spirit and the zeal to just do such an unheard of thing, of actually founding one's own country, and declaring you new country as independent, to the rest of the world, and one such person is myself, His Royal Majesty King Marcel Duvoix.  In my book called "Holy Legacy," published in July 2009, I write about how and why I did this, amongst other extraordinary things such as establishing my own royal house and family to go along with this newly proclaimed country; "Pretty cool huh?!"

Today's modern world, have always taught that one can truly attain to whatever it is that one can ever dream of, and evidently, beginning your own country, is still at the top of some people's list, at least mine.  I begun my own country, called Kingdom of Marceligue back in 2006, and virtually most people have never heard of it, because at the moment, it exists as a country that has yet to be inhabited and occupied by those whom proclaimed it as theirs.  Will I set foot on the lands that I proclaim as mine?  Sure!, it's my dream, and anything is possible, and stranger things have happened.  I never give up on my dreams, nor cease to focus on, what I've already believed to be a true reality for me.  For me, I'm already a citizen of that new country I proclaim, and in my heart, I'm already living my grand dream, of a new country, and a new land all my own; with even a few pioneering souls to join me.  Yours, HRM King Marcel.

Jamaican Royal Makes His Debut

Not everyone gets up one day, and says to themselves, “Hey!, I'm going to be a king today, and today I'll establish my own kingdom!,” but strangely enough, that's exactly what I did. As any newly proclaimed king will tell you, that along with a kingdom, they also need: a royal family, a royal house, members of nobility, and even laws of their own; and all these came about for me, in May of 2006, when I founded the Kingdom of Marceligue. No one told me, strange as all this was, that I couldn't just invent all these things, but those that knew me, knew me well enough, that I was determined to make my dreams come true, and those that loved and supported me, stuck by me; and also believed in my dreams.

So with the support of five other members in my immediate household, my relatives, I drew up a document, and all six of us signed it, and so we established ourselves officially as a full fledged royal house and family. What next?, because now, we had barely a penny to our names as new royals at that time in 2006, and in essence, we were merely now, still poor people. The only difference was, that we now had fancy royal titles and privileges etc, that couldn't feed us nor put a roof over our heads, but the Gods had grand plans for us. Although we were not always in poverty, and at one time was a fairly wealthy and politically powerful family in Jamaica, the current day pauper royals of Jamaican blood, were about to make their debut to the world!

All hell broke loose in the royal family, when not only were full real names used, of almost all family members!, but also, scandalous and private matters, that even some in the family didn't even knew about themselves. Personal threats of lawsuits and explosive anger soon followed, even from at least one family member, once the book, Holy Legacy, came onto the market. Also, even before it hit bookshelves in 2009, there were tremendous pressures, to prevent the book from coming onto the market, or at the very least, to delay its publication indefinitely! However, amidst great controversy, Holy Legacy actually premiered ahead of schedule, under budget, and it was already too late to stop it.

In July of 2009, with the publishing of my first autobiographical book, I introduced the world to the high disfunctionality and drama of the brand new Royal House of Marceligue, and its royal family; my family. That book was, “Holy Legacy,” was then soon followed up with the sequel, “Holy Continuum,” in March 2010. It's been a turbulent time for us so far, as newly established royals, but we're doing it the best we know how, and with as much grace and elegance as we can muster. This was also my coming out to the world, for a new king had arisen, a Jamaican born king.  Yours, HRM King Marcel.

Welcome To The Royals, With Jamaican Roots.

Most people have never really heard of such an unusual thing, as a Jamaican born king or queen etc, or for that matter, a Jamaican royal house? Say what?! Tell me more! Anyways, that's why I'm here. There may be at least one other known and verified historical case of a Jamaican royal, which was the late King Emmanuel Charles Edwards of the Bobo Shanti order of Rastafari, whom also is a God to his peoples, amongst other things. In 2006, the Kingdom of Marceligue was founded, along with the Royal House of Marceligue, and so therefore, a Jamaican born house of royalty was brought into existence. The Royal House of Marceligue, coincidentally by the way, unilaterally recognizes the late King Emmanuel.

So now that you know, that there is at least now two known cases of Jamaican houses of royalty, let me tell you a little bit more about my own house of royalty. The Royal House of Marceligue was begun by myself, His Royal Majesty King Marcel Duvoix, in 2006, and since that time, has made steady progresses towards being better known around the world. We're currently working on collaborating our royal efforts together, to not only be more well known everywhere, but also to work on things that are important to our royal house; and its future interests. So then, welcome to the Royal House of Marceligue!, and I look forward, to continue to share more information about my royal family, with everyone. Yours, HRM King Marcel.
